Keep Cool With These Cheap Summer Adventures

As we settle into the hottest time of year here in Phoenix, it can be hard to find ways to get out and enjoy ourselves with out burning alive or spending an arm and a leg to stay cool.  Here are some cheap, fun summer adventures you can enjoy alone or with friends and family that will keep you cool and save money.

Phoenix Art Museum

The coolest place to be (both literally and figuratively). Experience some cool art exhibitions while walking around an air conditioned building. There are over seventeen thousand objects of different modern and contemporary art from all over the world! Get cultured!

Phoenix Street Food

Okay, before you get mad at me for making you go outside, hear me out. Food trucks are delicious and hella cheap. Plus, you don’t really need to eat outside. Get your food and eat it in your car or somewhere else! Most of the time these food trucks are around at night so it is a little cooler, which is nice. We’re just mostly here for the food.

Roosevelt Row

According to the link, “Roosevelt Row is downtown Phoenix’s walkable arts district, home to art galleries and studio spaces, restaurants, bars and boutique shops in a landscape dotted by colorful street art.” Which means it has a little bit of everything! And there’s a lot of different events and festivals going on for you to attend as well!

See? You can still be cool, in more ways than one, during the summer while living in Phoenix!
