Phoenix is a large city and there is a lot to do around with friends and family. Since February is finally here, we’ve picked out the top 10 things to do around Phoenix this month. From live music, to arts and culture experiences, there is something for everyone. Get ready to fill up your calendar!

1. Waste Management Open

When: Feb. 1-7, 2016
Where: TPC Scottsdale (17020 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85255)
Admission: Wednesday-Thursday $30 (General Admission Single Daily Ticket) & Friday-Sunday $40 (General Admission Single Daily Ticket)
Why: The Waste Management Open has become a tradition for many around Phoenix. Walk around in your finest golf inspired gear, have drinks with friends and cheer loudly at the famous 16th hole.  While most people, event out of towners, come to watch the golf, many people come for the experience.  

2. Glendale Chocolate Affaire

When: Feb. 5-7, 2016 (Friday & Satuday: 10AM.-10PM. Sunday: noon-5PM)
Where: Murphy Park, 58th and Glendale avenues, Glendale.
Admission: Free.
Why: The drive out to Glendale is worth it for the Glendale Chocolate Afaire. Enjoy sweet treats from over 40 chocolate purveyors, local business and restaurants. Enjoy chocolate covered bananas, chocolate macarons, chocolate dipped cheesecake and quirkier treats like Aztec chocolate ice cream, and deep-fried chocolate rock road bacon. This event is a sweet lovers dream!

3. 16th Annual Arizona Strong Beer Festival

When: February 13, 2016
Where: Indian School Park (7000 N. Central Ave Phoenix, Arizona)
Admission: $48.24 (general admission); $11.49 (designated driver)
Why:  Craft beer lovers will love this event that features over 120 breweries and over 450 craft beers on tape. When you buy your ticket you will get 40 tasting tickets and a commemorative tasting glass. There will also be food vendors so you can have food with your beers and a live DJ to keep the atmosphere fun. If you’re feeling brave, try your hand at the Strong Man Games. It is a fun event for the 21+ crowd.

4. CrushBrew Craft Beverage Festival

When: February 19-20, 2016 (3PM – 9PM)
Where: Scottsdale Waterfront (7135 E Camelback Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251)
Admission: $45 (general admission one day tasting ticket)
Why:  The CrushBrew Craft Beverage Festival features craft bear, boutique wines, hard cider and craft spirits for a two-day festival in Old Town Scottsdale. This food and beverage festival brings you products from small wineries in Arizona, and unique distilleries from around the country. Plus there will be food and live music!

5. Music in the Garden

When: February 5, 12, 19 & 26, 2016
Where: Desert Botanical Garden (1201 N Galvin Pkwy, Phoenix, AZ 85008)
Admission: $25 (general admission)
Why: Music in the garden is back! Sit outside in the beautiful Desert Botanical Garden and enjoy live music from a variety of artists. February 5: The Flamenco Jazz Project with Chris Jácome. February 12: Pete Pancrazi Only Love Songs (jazz and American standards). February 19: Dmitri Matheny Group featuring Holly Pyle (lyrical jazz and standards). February 26: Quetzal Geurrero GVLN (Salsa, Brazilian, Jazz and Soul). These events are a great option for date night!

6. Michelangelo: Sacred and Profane

When: January 17 – March 27, 2016
Where: Phoenix Art Museum (1625 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85004)
Admission: Adults $15; Students $10; $6 children ages 6-17; Free for kids 5 and under
Why: This incredible exhibit features twenty-six rare drawings from the renowned collection of Casa Buonarroti in Florence, Italy. Casa Buonarroti was once owned by Michelangelo and has the largest collection of his peach drawings, memoirs and architectural studies. Don’t miss this incredible exhibit while it is in Phoenix!

7. Peach Blossom Celebration

When: February 1-29, 2016
Where: Schnepf Farms (24810 S Rittenhouse Rd, Queen Creek, AZ 85142)
Admission: FREE
Why: Take a trip out to Schnepf Farms for the Peach Blossom Celebration this month. There will be hay rides, train rides, a you pick garden, walking tours and more! Plus there will be a petting zoo, country store and bakery with all things peach! Bring out the whole family and enjoy peach pies, peach cinnamon rolls, peach scones, and even peaches and cream cake! YUM! This is a family friendly event you should check out this month.

8. 28th Annual Arizona Renaissance Festival

When: February 6-28, 2016
Where: Gold Canyon (12601 US-60, Gold Canyon, AZ 85118)
Admission: purchase tickets at a local Fry’s Food Store or online – $23 for adults; $11 for children 5-12; FREE for kids 5 & under
Why: If you have never been to the Renaissance Festival, you need to go this year. The 28th Annual Arizona Renaissance Festival features a medieval amusement park, a 13-stage theater, a 30-acre circus, an arts & crafts fair, a jousting tournament and a ton of delicious food options! It is an awesome family friendly event that will transport you to another time and place.

9. A Taste of Tempe Walking Tour

When: February 9, 13, & 18, 2016
Where: Downtown Tempe
Admission: $35
Why: Explore Downtown Tempe and sample some of the best eateries in the area. This three hour tour takes you down Historic Mill Avenue and has stops at Pedal Haus Brewery, Nushm and Rula Bula – the oldest- running establishment on Mill Avenue – with a final stop for desserts at Delice Bistro. This event combines the food, wine, history and enjoying beautiful Spring weather in Arizona.

10. Bites ’N Brews

When: February 27, 2016
Where: Cityscape (1 E Washington St, Phoenix, AZ 85004)
Admission: $30 GA; $45 for VIP
Why: This one-day festival in Downtown Phoenix features over 20 North American craft breweries, comfort food from local eateries, a life size foosball competition, beer pong tournaments and other fun tailgate games! It is a great food and drink festival with plenty of games and fun.
